PRAYER: This criminal original petition has been filed under Section 483(1)(b) of BNSS, 2023, to modify the condition imposed in para no.1(iii) in Crl.M.P.No.12090 of 2024 dated 03.10.2024 on the file of the Hon'ble XV Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, at Chennai. For Petitioner(s):

ORDER
The petitioner seeks modification of condition no. 1(iii), directing him to appear before the respondent police station daily at 10.00 a.m. for a period of 30 days in Crl.M.P.No.12090 of 2024, dated 03.10.2024.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that condition no. 1(iii) imposed by the trial Court in Crl.M.P.No.12090 of 2024 dated 03.10.2024 could not be complied with because he was appearing before the Principal Special Court under the EC and NDPS Act, Salem, as ordered by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.24487 of 2024 dated 23.10.2024; and that the said condition has now been relaxed by this Court in Crl.M.P.No.3409 of 2025 dated 27.02.2025 and the petitioner may be permitted to appear before the respondent police as ordered by the trial Court.
3. Accordingly, the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m. for a period of two weeks and thereafter before the Principal Special Court under the EC and NDPS Act, Salem, once a week, i.e., on every Monday at 10.30 a.m., until further orders.

4. With the above direction, this criminal miscellaneous petition is ordered.
