Respondent Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the entire records relating to the impugned order passed by the respondent in his proceedings Tha.Pa.No.96/2013/Pirivu 3(B) dated 21.09.2017, quash the same and consequently direct the respondent to reinstate the petitioner into service with all backwages, attendant benefits and other monetary benefits.

ORDER
The petitioner has come to this Court challenging the order passed by the Superintendent of Police, Kancheepuram District dismissing the petitioner from service on the ground that he demanded and accepted a bribe of Rs.3,000/-.
2. In my considered opinion, as the petitioner has got an effective appeal remedy before the appellate authority and the further appeal before the Director General of Police as well a further review petition before the Government, he should exhaust all the statutory remedies, without which he cannot come to this Court by filing the present writ petition. Hence, without going into the merits of the matter, the writ petition is dismissed https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
with liberty to the petitioner to approach the appellate authority within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, W.M.P.No.27579 of 2017 is also dismissed. No costs.
