Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the entire records relating to the impugned order passed by the first respondent in his proceedings HITS/VD/SO/2025/001 dated 07.02.2025 and quash the same and consequently directing the first respondent to allow the petitioners to appear in semester exams, internal exams and to attend lectures. The present Writ Petition has been filed challenging the suspension order dated 07.02.2025 passed by the first respondent.

2. Though the petitioner has challenged the suspension order, the learned counsel for the petitioner would now submit that if the respondents are directed to conclude the enquiry within a reasonable time, it would satisfy the petitioner.

3. At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the first respondent would submit that they will conclude the enquiry within a reasonable time.

4. On perusal of the counter affidavit filed by the second respondent and the submission of the learned counsel for the second respondent, it reveals that they are only a formal party in the present writ petition, and it is for the first respondent to decide the further course of action.

5. In view of the above submission, without going into the merits of this Writ Petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the first respondent to conclude the enquiry and pass final orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
