Heard the counsel on either side and perused the records.

2. The prayer made in this Writ Petition to issue a Mandamus directing the respondents 5 and 6 to conduct an enquiry with respect to Shivanachiyar Fuels activities from the year of 2018 by taking note of explanation submitted by the petitioner on 04.06.2021.

When this writ petition is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the respondents 1 and 2 brought to the notice of this Court that the Corporation has awarded a dealership to the partnership firm in the name and style of Siva Nachiyar Fuels, consisting of the petitioner and the 8th respondent as its partners. They have been running the retail outlet upto December 2018 and thereafter, dispute arose between themselves. It is alleged by the petitioner that the eighth respondent, in collusion with the seventh respondent, has been running the retail outlet, which resulted in the petitioner not uplifting 'A' site Petrol (MS)/High Speed Diesel (HSD) for 22 months. As it is one of the violations of the terms and conditions of the agreement, the corporation issued a show cause notice dated 20.05.2021 for which the petitioner submitted a written representation on 04.06.2021. After an elaborate enquiry, subsequent to the filing of this writ petition, action was taken and an order of termination dated 08.07.2021 was issued to the petitioner.

In the light of the above submission of the learned counsel for the respondents 1 and 2 and the fact that an order of termination was issued on 08.07.2021, the relief sought for in this writ petition no longer survives for consideration.
