O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the 1 and 2nd respondents to provide police protection to the petitioner and her husband to enabling them to lead a peaceful matrimonial home at Rasipuram, Namakkal District.

2. It is seen that the petitioner was in love with her own aunt's son Mr.Anand, and married him on 23.04.2019 as against the wish of her parents. Now, it is alleged that the parents of the petitioner are trying to kill the petitioner and her husband. Therefore, the petitioner lodged a complaint before the first and second respondent on 08.04.2019 seeking police protection https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.It is also seen that the father of the petitioner has already lodged a complaint of "girl missing" and the same has been registered in Crime No. 83 of 2019 on the file of the 3rd respondent police, Vazhapadi Police Station, Salem District, Salem.

4.Heard both sides.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the 3rd respondent to provide adequate protection to the petitioner and her husband from the parents.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
