By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2.The petitioner would state that she is a permanent resident of Door No.17, North Street, Karadichithur Village & Post, Chinnasalem Taluk, Villupuram District, and submitted an application dated 5.1.2010, for issuance of new Family Card by enclosing all necessary documents and it was followed by a representation dated 15.7.2015, and since no response is forthcoming, she came forward to file this writ petition.

3.Heard the submissions of the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, and Mr.P.Sanjai Gandhi, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepted notice on behalf of the respondents. 4.Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court, in the light of the facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 5.1.2010, in Application No.3439/2010 as well as the reminder representation dated 15.7.2015, in accordance with law and pass orders thereon within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
