This petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 27 days in filing the appeal against the judgment passed in Special SC.No.47 of 2019 on the file of the Sessions Court, Magalir Neethimandram, Fast Track Mahila Court at Erode.
2.In the affidavit filed in support of the petition, it had been stated that after conviction he had decided to file an appeal but, owing to poverty and the pandemic situation he could not take steps for filing an appeal therefore, he contacted a counsel who was appointed by the legal service authority to file an appeal.
3.In view of the above reasons and after hearing the learned Public Prosecutor, this petition is allowed, the delay of 27 days in filing the appeal is condoned.
