PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, praying to direct the respondent police to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner group people to worship in the Grace Lutheran Church, IELC, Mission Compound, Old Colony, Thuthipet, Ambur, Vellore District, pursuant to the order passed by the Sub Collector, Tiruppathur, Vellore District in proceedings M.C.No. 28 of 2017 dated 30.06.2017. O R D E R

This petition is filed praying to direct the respondent police to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner group people to worship in the Grace Lutheran Church, IELC, Mission Compound, Old Colony, Thuthipet, Ambur, Vellore District, pursuant to the order passed by the Sub Collector, Tiruppathur, Vellore District in proceedings M.C.No. 28 of 2017 dated 30.06.2017.

2. Though the petitioner has sought for direction to the first respondent to extend police protection for the purpose of worshiping in the Grace Lutheran Church, IELC, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Mission Compound, Old Colony, Thuthipet, Ambur, Vellore District, when the matter was called today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that he would be satisfied, if a direction is given to the first respondent to consider his representation/complaint dated 27.09.2017.

3. In view of the limited prayer sought for, without going into the merits of the representation dated 27.09.2017, there shall be direction to the first respondent, to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.09.2017, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. While passing such an order on the representation, the first respondent shall also give due opportunity to V.PremKumar, S/o.Victor, 4th street, Bethalagem,Ambur, Vellore District, since according to the petitioner, the 2nd respondent is obstructing his personal right to worship. The petitioner is also directed to give a copy of the complaint dated 27.09.2017 along with the copy of this order.

5. With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
