(through video conference) The Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to the Second Respondent to pay provident fund dues between 18.09.2014 to 16.10.2017 for 36 months and to direct the First Respondent to take necessary action against the Second Respondent to recover provident fund dues to the Petitioner as expeditiously as possible.

The Third Respondent has filed Counter-Affidavit along with typed-set showing the details of the provident fund amount totalling Rs. 46,606/- that has been remitted to the First Respondent in respect of the Petitioner. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the First Respondent confirms receipt of the same and in the Counter-Affidavit dated 04.09.2020 filed by the First Respondent, it has been stated that on receipt of application from the Petitioner for settlement of Provident Fund and Pension Fund Account, an amount of Rs. 36,315/- towards Provident Fund and Rs. 11,940/- towards Pension Fund account was settled and 2/4
paid into credit of his bank account maintained at Indian Bank, Saving Bank Account Number SB. A/c. No. 611166848 in October, 2018. Since the provident fund dues of the Petitioner has been fully paid to him, nothing remains for further consideration in respect of the relief claimed in this Writ Petition.
