This is a petition under section 397 Cr.P.C. to revise the impugned Order of the learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai passed in Crl.M.P.No.6608 of 2015, dated 01.03.2016, wherein the request of the revision petitioner to issue him copy of certain documents filed in a SARFAESI Act case has been rejected. This petition is to revise the said Order.

2. Though the matter arose under SARFAESI Act, the Order of rejection for issuance of copy application has been passed by the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, a Criminal Court. It is clear that the copy of the Order sought for is not a secret document relating to any safety and security of the State. In this days of transparency, let him have certified copies of the documents filed in the said SARFAESI Act case by the Bank.

Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai, passed in C.A.No.13339 of 2016 in Crl.M.P.No.6608 of 2015, dated 01.03.2016 is set aside and the learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate shall comply C.A.No.13339 of 2016 without any delay.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Revision case is disposed of.
