The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a mandamus to direct the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 19.03.2025 and transfer them to their native place to Cuddalore Division as per the recommendation issued by the third respondent in his proceedings issued in Na.Ka.A7/2620/2017 dated 19.10.2017 and Na.Ka.A7/3313/2017 dated 23.11.2017 and Na.Ka.A7/3082/2017 dated 23.11.2017.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that they are seeking the limited prayed to consider the representation dated 19.03.2025 2/5
for transfer to their parent Unit, viz., from Chidambaram to Cuddalore, and the said representation is pending since 19.03.2025.
3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would strongly object that the petitioners are not eligible to be considered for the transfer.
4. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.
5. However, the fact remains that so far, such representation is not considered. In view of the same, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the petitioners' representation dated 19.03.2025 on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
