Mr.R.Govindasamy, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representations dated 31.12.2018 and 25.01.2019, wherein and whereby, he sought for issuance of patta in his favour in respect of the land at New Door No.2, Old No.68, Plot No.297, 7th Street, Kamaraj Colony, Kodambakkam, Chennai - 600 024, measuring about 883 Sq.feet comprised in T.S.No.4/1 (Part), Block No-45 situated at No.109, Puliyur Village, Egmore-Nungambakkam Taluk, Chennai District. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Heard both sides.

4. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that the said representations have not been considered by the respondent so far.

5. This Court at this stage is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the respondent to consider and decide the same. Thus, this writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 31.12.2018 & 25.01.2019 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner and other interested parties, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the respondent within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
