Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondent.

2. This writ petition is against the respondent to consider the representation dated 10.05.2016 of the petitioner.

3. The petitioner's father, who employed as a Watchman in the respondent Corporation died on 17.04.1986 due to his illness during the tenure of his service. Thereafter, considering the petitioner's application she was appointed as a Gang Mazdoor in Vellore Municipality. Now the grievance of the petitioner is that her subsequent promotions have not been granted. In this regard, she made a representation dated 10.05.2016 and the same has not been considered till date. 4. Learned counsel for the respondent on instructions seeks four weeks time to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.05.2016.

5. Considering the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.05.2016 and pass orders on merits in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion about the merits of the matter. No costs.
