Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the Petitioner's representation dated 12.05.2022 and pass orders thereon so as to enable to remit the outstanding amount of Rs.37.90 Crores, within a period of 120 days.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.S.Ramesh,J) The present writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.05.2022, whereby he has sought permission to remit the outstanding amount of Rs.37.90 Crore within a period of 120 days.

2. Today when the matter was called, learned Standing Counsel for the first respondent, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner's representation has been considered and rejected on 19.05.2022.

3. As such, the prayer in the present writ petition has become infructuous. If at all the petitioner is aggrieved against the rejection order, liberty is hereby granted to him to challenge the same in accordance with law. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. There will be no order as to costs.
