ORDER

This petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to direct the 1st to 4th respondent police to transfer the investigation to 5th respondent namely the Additional Superintendent of Police, C.B.C.I.D, Chennai in Crime No.19 of 2012, pending on the file of the 6th respondent.

2.Today, the matter is posted under the caption "for dismissal". Since, there was no representation on the last occasion and even today, there was no representation for the petitioner side.

3. The learned counsel for the Government Advocate (crl.side) has submitted that the petitioner has been filed for transfer of investigation from the sixth respondent namely Inspector of Police, (Law&Order), T1, Ambattur Police Station, Ambattur, Chennai - 600 053 to the 5th respondent namely the Additional Superintendent of Police, C.B.C.I.D, Chennai. Meanwhile, the case has been transferred from Ambattur to Central Crime Branch, Vepery and subsequently, it was registered based upon the order passed in Crl.O.P.No.28078 of 2011 and thereafter, the matter has been referred to City Crime Branch, Chennai and the Inspector Team 22-A have conducted and completed the investigation and filed the charge sheet before the concerned Metropolitan Magistrate and yet to be taken on file.

4. Considering the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), no fruitful purpose will be served to adjudicate in this matter.

5.Accordingly,this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
