Heard Mr. K.Premkumar, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. S.J.Mohamed Sathik, Learned Government Advocate appearing for the Respondents and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties.

This Contempt Petition is prosecuted for failure of the Respondents to comply with the order dated 29.04.2022 in W.P. No. 23634 of 2017 passed by the Court.

The Second Respondent has filed Status Report dated 20.11.2023 stating that the sum of Rs. 7,24,816/- has been paid by the Second Respondent in furtherance to the order dated 29.04.2022 in W.P. No. 23634 of 2017 passed by the Court. In view of the same, nothing remains for further consideration in the Contempt Petition, but if the Petitioner still has any grievance to be redressed in the matter, he is not precluded from working out his rights before the proper forum in the manner recognized by law.

In fine, the Contempt Petition is closed with the aforesaid observations. No costs.
