O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking for contempt for non compliance of the order of this Court passed in Crl.O.P.No.9546 of 2022 dated 27.04.2022, whereby, this Court had directed the respondent herein to transfer the investigation pending on the file of the Inspector of Police, Thudialur Police Station to the file of the competent Deputy Superintendent of Police of the nearby jurisdiction and also directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.1071 of 2021 and file the final report within a period of four months from the date of receipt of the copy of that order and further, directed the respondent herein to monitor the same.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that pursuant to the order passed by this Court on 27.04.2022, the respondent has transferred the investigation in Crime No.1071 of 2021 to the file of one Mr.Namasivayam, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Periyanaickenpalayam. He further submitted that the said Deputy Superintendent of Police had conducted the investigation and filed the final report in C.C.No.314 of 2023 for the offence under 2/4

Sections 448 & 427 of IPC, which is pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Coimbatore.

3. Recording the submissions of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Court is of the opinion that the respondent had completed the investigation and also filed the final report and thereby, the respondent has duly complied with the order passed by this Court. Therefore, this Court is inclined to close the Contempt Petition.
