Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondent.
2. This writ petition is against the respondent to consider the representation dated 11.04.2016 of the petitioner.
3. The petitioner's *brother namely D.Selvakumar worked as Assistant Engineer, Water Resources Department, Public Works Department, Sethuvandai, Gudiyattam, Vellore District, and stated to have died on 02.07.2012. In this regard, the petitioner applied for legal heir certificate and the Tahsildar and further sought for the disbursement of the death cum retirement benefits and other pensionary benefits. She also submitted several representations dated 21.05.2015, 12.01.2016 and 11.04.2016. However, they have not been considered by the respondents till date. Hence, the present petition.
4. Learned counsel for the respondent on instructions seeks four weeks time to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.04.2016.
5. Considering the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.04.2016 and pass orders on merits in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion about the merits of the matter. No costs.
