ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed for a direction, directing the 1st respondent herein to re-issue the passport of the petitioner based on his application bearing No.TR1076393624426 dated 13.02.2026, consequently direct the 2nd respondent to issue the report regarding the pendency of FIR in Crime No.424 of 2008 as per the memorandum No.VI/401/1/5/2019 issued by External Affairs PSP Division dated 10.10.2019. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3.Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the 1st respondent is hereby directed to dispose of the application submitted by the petitioner bearing No.TR1076393624426 dated 13.02.2026, sought for re-issue of the passport in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
