PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondent to register the complaint dated 01.07.2018 in CSR No.159/2018 given by the petitioner and to take action against the person mentioned in the complaint and also file a final report within a specified time.

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register the case based on the complaint given by the petitioner on 01.07.2018.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that one Raghu @ Raghuwaran had sexual intercourse with the petitioner by giving false promise that he will marry her. But, subsequently, he refused to marry her and hence, she lodged a complaint before the respondent on 01.07.2018, but, so far, no action has been taken.
3. The learned Public Prosecutor has submitted that the said complaint is still pending for enquiry. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4. Considering the aforesaid submissions, the respondent is directed to expedite the enquiry and if the enquiry reveals any cognizable offence, he has to register the case and proceed in accordance with law within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the aforesaid observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
