The petitioner has come up with this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondent to grant permission to conduct cultural program (Dance and Music program) in the SRI THIROPATHIAMMAN TEMPLE situated at, No.59, South Street, Gopalapuram & Post, Viruthachalam Taluk, Cuddalore District scheduled to be held on 13.09.2018 from 7.00pm to 11.00 pm.

2. When the matter is taken up for consideration, Mr.J.Gandhi, Head Constable, Kammapuram Police Station, Viruthachalam Taluk, Cuddalore District, is present before this Court and submitted that the petitioner did not approach the respondent for necessary permission to conduct the cultural program in the above mentioned Temple.

3. Such being the case, without approaching the respondent for appropriate orders, the petitioner cannot file a writ and hence, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
