This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the FIR filed in Crime.No.212 of 2020, pending on the file of the 1st Respondent Police.

It is submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that investigation was conducted in Crime No.212 of 2020 which is impugned in the present quash petition and the respondent police has filed the final report in C.C.No.1794 of 2023, which is pending on the file of the XI Metropolitan Magistrate for Exclusive Trial of CCB and CBCID Cases, Egmore.

3. In view of the above submission, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition and hence the prayer in the instant petition has become infructuous. It is open to the petitioner to challenge the final report if he is advised to do so.
