ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the second respondent to investigate and to file a final report in Crime No.12 of 2013 within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that investigation in Crime No.12 of 2013 was completed and final report was filed on 17.10.2015 before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Nagapattinam and the same has not yet taken on file by the Judicial Magistrate.

4. Recording the same, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Nagapattinam is directed to pass appropriate orders on the final report filed by the Police in connection with Crime No.12 of 2013, within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
