ORDER

The petitioner apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Sections Section 8(c) read with Section 20(b)(ii)(c), 29(1) of NDPS Act, in Crime No.39 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused was found in illegal possession of 98.2 kgs of ganja. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent conditions that may be imposed by this Court and hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would reiterate the prosecution case and opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the nature of allegation against the petitioner and it is a case arising under NDPS Act, this Court is of the view that the petitioner does not deserve anticipatory bail.
