By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner is the Organizer of the Temple Festival Committee of Arulmigu Sri Muthu Muniappan Koil at Marapparai Village, Thiruchengode Taluk, Namakkal District to be held on 31.05.2016 and in this regard, submitted a representation to the respondent on 25.05.2016. Since no order has been passed, the petitioner has come forward to file this writ petition.

3. Heard the submissions of Mr.G.Murugendran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Govindasamy, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepted notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. In the light of the above facts and circumstances and since the date for conducting the cultural program falls on 31.05.2016, this Court, in this writ petition cannot issue https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

any direction. However, the petitioner is at liberty to submit a fresh representation to the first respondent, well in advance for conducting the cultural program in connection with the Temple festival and on receipt of the same, the first respondent is directed to consider and pass orders as expeditiously as possible, within a period of one week thereafter, in accordance with law and inform the decision taken, to the petitioner.

5. The writ petition is disposed of, accordingly. No costs.
