Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to sanction the annual increment to the petitioner and revise the monthly pension and other monetary benefits and arrears of pension payable to the petitioner in the light of W.P.No.32120 of 2023.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus seeking a direction to grant annual increment by the 2nd respondent to the petitioner and to revise the monthly pension and other monetary benefits. 2.The petitioner places reliance on the order of a learned Single Judge in W.P.No.32120 of 2023, R.Mani Vs. The Government of Tamil Nadu, Rep. by its Additional Chief Secretary, Transport Department, Chennai, which was passed on 24.04.2024 3.In the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, the petitioner claims that he retired as Block Educational Officer on 30.06.2024 and was sanctioned with pension and other retirement benefits. However, the petitioner claims that the benefit under G.O.Ms.No.311, Finance (CMPC)
Department dated 31.12.2014 had not been extended to him. The petitioner placed reliance on the order of the learned Single Judge in the aforementioned writ petition in W.P.No.32120 of 2023, wherein, the said benefit had been extended to the petitioner therein. 4.The 2nd respondent may examine the facts and circumstances of that case and the Service Register of the petitioner and compare it with the Service Register of the petitioner in the aforementioned writ petition in W.P.No.32120 of 2023 and if the petitioner is entitled, pass appropriate orders within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
