The matter is taken up through web hearing.

2.After notice was ordered in the writ petition, the learned counsel would submit that the petitioner has received notice calling him for the enquiry in respect of the disposal of the appeal that is sought to be pending before the Appellate Authority, which is a subject matter of the present writ petition. The learned counsel would submit that this may be recorded and direction may be issued to Appellate Authority to dispose of the appeal within a time frame.

3.In view of the above development, the writ petition is disposed of directing the Appellate Authority, before whom the appeal is pending and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
