Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to give proper treatment for the eye sight affected due to the work assigned during the course of employment by the 5th and 6th respondents by referring admitting the petitioner in a specialist eye hospital and to pay a sum of Rs.10,00,000/- towards compensation.

ORDER
The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the respondents to give treatment to the writ petitioner in respect of the injury sustained by him during the course of employment. 2.The petitioner joined as Constable in Central Reserve Police Force. While performing cleaning duties in garden, he has suffered injuries in his eye on account of chemicals spreading and he was admitted in the hospital immediately. The petitioner was referred for specialized treatment. However, the petitioner was subsequently declared medically unfit to perform the combatant duties and accordingly was discharged from service. 3.The learned counsel for the respondents made a submission that in respect of the injuries sustained by the petitioner during the course of employment ex gratia payment of Rs.20 Lakhs has been settled in favour of the writ petitioner on 09.12.2020. Beyond the ex gratia payment of Rs.20 Lakhs, the pension as applicable is also settled in favour of the writ 3/6
petitioner. Now the petitioner is receiving monthly pension as per the Pension Rules in force. Since the grievances of the writ petitioner has already been redressed and ex gratia payment of Rs.20 Lakhs has also been settled, no further consideration is required. 4.Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No Costs.
