Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider and dispose of the petition pending representation dated 21.05.2022, within a stipulated time framed by this Court.

ORDER

By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner alleges irregularities in the election of Thandalam Lake Water Users Association. In this connection, he had given a representation dated 21.05.2022 and in view of the non consideration of the representation, he has filed the present writ petition.

3. Today, when the matter was called, the learned Additional Advocate General on written instructions submitted https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

that the said election was already held and the office bearers were also elected on 02.06.2022.

4. While that being so, no useful purpose will be served in directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's grievances in this regard. However, the petitioner is still of the view that he intends to challenge the election. Therefore, liberty is hereby granted to him to do so in the manner provided under law.

5. The writ petition is dismissed with the above liberty. No costs.
