ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for non compliance of the order dated 02.02.2024 passed by this Court in W.P.No.25187 of 2023, thereby directed the respondents to approve the appointment of the petitioner as Secondary Grade Teacher from the date of her initial appointment.

The present officers of the respondents are present before this Court and on their instructions, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that under the fourth respondent management in Eaiyur school, there is one surplus post in the secondary teacher. In Viruthachalam district, there are nine surplus posts are available in the post of secondary teacher. Over all in Cuddalore and Viruthachalam educational district, there are 17 surplus posts in the secondary grade teacher. Therefore, the order passed by this Court could not be complied with. 3.

In view of the above submissions, no contempt is made out as

against the respondents. However, in future vacancy, the case of the petitioner may be considered for approval. Accordingly, the Contempt Petition stands Closed.
