O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this petition for issuance of writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 2 and 4 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.02.2016 in the light of the Circular in Circular No.67 dated 03-11-2011

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the present writ petition is filed to consider the representation of the petitioner in the light of the Circular in Circular No.67 dated 03-11-2011. It is further submitted that the said circular itself was withdrawn on 20.10.2017 by the Inspector General of Registration and therefore all the subsequent proceedings based on the said circular has no force and prays for liberty to the petitioner to file fresh application either in terms of Section 77A or 68(2) of the Registration Act.

3. In view of the limited request sought for by the petitioner and further considering the facts and circumstances of the case that the Circular No.67, dated 03.01.2011, based on which representation was given by the petitioner, itself was withdrawn on 20.10.2017, this Writ Petition is dismissed. However liberty is granted to the petitioner to workout the remedy in the manner known to law . No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
