O R D E R

(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 4(1)(a), 4(1-A) of TNP Act in Crime No.64 of 2020, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was found in possession of 40 litres of ID arrack. Hence, the complaint. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and she has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submit that the petitioner was found in possession of 40 litres of ID arrack. He would further submit that there are two previous cases pending as against the petitioner. Hence he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that the petitioner had committed serious offence and that there are two previous cases pending as against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
