The petitioner has filed the above petition to effect substituted service in respect of the first respondent in one issue each of Tamil and English daily for the reason that the court notice sent to him could not be served.
In the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the petitioner has stated that the assets and liabilities of the third respondent have been taken over by the fourth respondent.
However, this averment has been denied by the learned counsel for the fourth respondent.
Further, the learned counsel also submitted that the fourth respondent has filed a separate counter denying this averment in the main writ petition.
Being satisfied with the averments in the affidavit filed in support of the petition for substituted service, the same is ordered. The petitioner is permitted to effect paper publication in one issue of Tamil daily "Malai Murasu" and one issue of English daily "Times of India" having wide circulation in the area where the first respondent is situated, indicating the date of hearing as 18.6.2019. List on 18.6.2019.
