This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to give police protection to the petitioner on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 28.06.2018.

2. It is seen that the petitioner filed a petition for a direction in Crl.M.P.No.2514 of 2018. The learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Dharmapuri, by an order dated 16.07.2018, directed the Inspector of Police, B1 Dharmapuri Town Police Station, Dharmapuri, to register the complaint as against the accused persons and investigate the same under Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C. Now the petitioner apprehends threat from the accused persons.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the 1st respondent is directed to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner, if any threat is caused by the accused persons.

4. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
