Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the compassionate appointment application of the petitioner dated 03.02.2016 in lieu of the proceedings in mu.mu.1735/2020/A1 dated 3.7.2020 passed by the 2nd Respondent and as per G.O.No.18 dated 23.01.2020 passed by the Labour and Employment department. 18 dated 23.01.2020 passed by the Labour and Employment department. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner's father died on 22.01.2016 and that the petitioner made a request for compassionate appointment as legal heir of the deceased. retirement benefits of the deceased. In the said circumstances, the request of the petitioner should be considered after issuing notice to the interested persons, if any.

3.This writ petition is disposed of without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation dated 03.02.2016 with a direction to the the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 03.02.2016, after issuing notice to the persons interested, if any, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
