Petition filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Certiorarified mandamus, calling for the records of the respondents in respect of the order of the second respondent dated 03.05.2017, in Lr.Rc.No.M4/7777/2014 and quash the same and direct the respondents to release the security Deposit payments to the petitioner as per law and eligibility, as per the terms of the contract.

O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the respondents , in respect of the order of the second respondent dated 03.05.2017 and to quash the same and to

direct the respondents to release the security deposit payments to them, as per terms of the Contract.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that as against the impugned order dated 03.05.2017, the petitioner has preferred an appeal before the Managing Director, Tamilnadu Civil Supplies Corporation on 15.05.2017, and therefore, it would be suffice to direct the appellate authority to consider the petitioner's appeal and dispose of the same within a time frame. 3.Mr.L.P.Shanmugasundaram, learned counsel taking notice for the respondents submitted that the appellate authority may be directed to dispose of the appeal in accordance with law.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the appellate authority, viz., The Managing Director, The Tamilnadu Civil Supplies Corporation, Chennai, to dispose of the appeal preferred by the petitioner, in accordance with law, within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, Connected Miscellaneous petition is closed.
