Respondents PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to provide the adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2. Perused the materials available on record.

3. It is seen that there is a civil dispute between the petitioner and the respondents 3 and 4 herein. Therefore, in order to enjoy the property, the police protection cannot be granted. That apart, a civil suit in O.S.No.210 of 2014 has already pending before the Sub Judge, Tittagudi.

4. In view of the above, the direction sought for in this petition cannot be granted. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
