thereby totalling Rs 18,07,555/- and further interest at the same rate from 01.02.2026 till the date of actual payment and consequently direct the respondents consider and dispose of the petitioner's detailed and final representation dated 28.02.2026 within stipulated time. WP No. 14413 of 2026 PRAYER: Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to pay the petitioner balance retirement benefits namely Leave Encashment Rs 1,19,456/- Employee Provident Fund Rs 3,51,453/- and Gratuity of Rs 4,18,474/- aggregating to a total sum of Rs 8,89,365/- together with statutory interest @ 10 percent per annum from the date of retirement i.e., 31.05.2022 till 28.02.2026 amounting to Rs 4,24,571/- thereby totalling Rs 13,13,936/- and further interest at the same rate form 01.3.2026 till the date of actual payment and consequently direct the respondents consider and dispose of the petitioner's detailed and final representation dated 28.02.2026 within stipulated time. Mr.A.M.Ayyadurai, GA COMMON ORDER The above writ petitions have been filed to direct the Respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioners' representations on merits and in accordance with law and to disburse the unsettled benefits to them, within a time frame.

2. It is the case of the petitioners that they are the retired employees of the

second respondent society. Therefore, the respondents are legally bound to settle their terminal benefits. Since the respondents failed to do so, the petitioners made representations before the second respondent to settle the same. Since there was no response till date, the petitioners are before this Court.

3. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

4. Considering the relief now sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, direct the respondents to consider the petitioners' representations dated 28.02.2026, on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders and to disburse the amounts to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
