Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent herein to grant permission for conducting dance programme on 01.05.2019 in Thiruchenkundram, Arulmighu Mariamman Temple situated in Marimanapalli Village, Bargur Taluk, Krishnagiri District.

Mr.E.Balamurugan, Special Government Pleader O R D E R Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, this main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner seeks for Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent herein to grant permission for conducting dance programme on 01.05.2019 in Thiruchenkundram, Arulmighu Mariamman Temple situated in Marimanapalli Village, Bargur Taluk, Krishnagiri District. He has also made a representation dated 23.04.2019 to the respondents to that effect.

3. The learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents submitted that already a circular memorandum dated 31.10.2018, has been issued by the Director General of Police to all the Station House Officers/Inspectors indicating the conditions to be imposed, while considering the grant of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

permission to "Aadal Padal Programme". Therefore, he submitted that the petitioner's representation will be considered by the second respondent in the light of the Circular already issued by the Director General of Police dated 31.10.2018.

4. Recording the above said submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of, by directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.04.2019 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law on or before 30.04.2019. No costs.
