PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, praying to extend the time to the petitioner shall surrender before the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Denkanikottai and shall execute a bond for Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the said Judicial Magistrate in Crl.M.P.No.1426 of 2020 dated 16.06.2020 on the file of the Principal District and Sessions Court, Krishnagiri in Crime No.201 of 2019 on the file of the respondent police. O R D E R

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to extend the time to the petitioner to surrender before the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Denkanikottai and shall execute a bond for Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the said Judicial Magistrate in Crl.M.P.No.1426 of 2020 dated 16.06.2020 on the file of the Principal District and Sessions Court, Krishnagiri in Crime No.201 of 2019 on the file of the respondent police.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner herein has been granted anticipatory bail by the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Principal District and Sessions Court, Krishnagiri in Crl.M.P.No.1426 of 2020 on 16.06.2020, with one of the condition that the petitioner shall surrender before the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Denkanikottai and shall execute a bond for Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the said Judicial Magistrate. However, due to Covid-19 pandemic, the petitioner could not be able to surrender before the Court concerned and also not able to arrange for sureties. Now the petitioner is ready and willing to surrender before the Court concerned and execute sureties. Therefore, he prayed to allow this Criminal Original Petition.

3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent. 4.In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner this Court is inclined to extend by two weeks time, to the petitioner to surrender before the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Denkanikottai and shall execute a bond for Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the said Judicial Magistrate.

5.Accordingly, two weeks time is extended to the petitioner, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the result the Criminal Original Petition is ordered.
