PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to issue necessary direction to the second respondent police to take appropriate action

against the respondents No.3 to 7 based on the petitioner's complaint dated 17.04.2023 made to the second respondent in person on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 20.04.2023 made to the first respondent. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to issue necessary direction to the second respondent police to take appropriate action against the respondents No.3 to 7 based on the petitioner's complaint dated 17.04.2023 made to the second respondent in person on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 20.04.2023 made to the first respondent.

2. It is the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner gave a complaint to the second respondent, making allegations of dowry harassment and cruelty against the accused. Though, the petitioner appeared for the enquiry, till date no order is passed.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, enquiry is pending in C.S.R.No.188 of 2023.

4. In view of the above submissions, this Court directs the respondents 1 and 2 to dispose the CSR enquiry as early as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in the manner known to law.
