..Respondent(s) PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st to 8th Respondents to Consider the Petitioner's representation dated 19.02.2026 and to take appropriate action against the 9th and 10th Respondents herein for carrying on illegal activities such as production of artificial Sand, stone quarrying/ mining operations, drilling of bore wells using high - powered explosives, and undertaking blasting operations with gelatin sticks for extraction of stones in the vicinity of the petitioner's Agricultural Land Comprised in Survey Nos.49/4A, 49/10 and 59/4, situated at B.S.Thimmasandiram Village, Shollagiri Taluk, Krishnagiri District , in accordance with law.

ORDER

By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. In view of the order that this Court proposes to pass and also the limited relief that is sought to be granted, notice to the 9th and 10th respondents is dispensed with.

2. The present writ petition has been filed praying for a writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st to 8th Respondents to Consider the Petitioner's representation dated 19.02.2026 and to take appropriate action against the 9th and 10th Respondents herein for carrying on illegal activities such as production of artificial Sand, stone quarrying/ mining operations, drilling of bore wells using high - powered explosives, and undertaking blasting operations with gelatin sticks for extraction of stones in the vicinity of the petitioner's Agricultural Land Comprised in Survey Nos.49/4A, 49/10 and

59/4, situated at B.S.Thimmasandiram Village, Shollagiri Taluk, Krishnagiri District , in accordance with law.

At the outset, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that petitioner's representation dated 19.02.2026 would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed after issuing notice to petitioner and any other interested parties, within a time period to be stipulated by this Court. Agreed to by the learned counsel for petitioner.

4. In view of the same, taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the respondents to consider the representation dated 19.02.2026 on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after issuing notice and after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to petitioner, 9th and 10th respondents and any other interested persons within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of uploading of web copy without waiting for receipt of certified copy of the order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the case and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the case on its own merits and in accordance with law.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
