Respondents Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the second respondent to give permission to conduct the dance programme "Adal Padal" to the Arulmigu Throubathi Amman Koil festival to be held on 08.08.2015.

By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for disposal.

2. The petitioner claims to be the head of the Organising Committee of Arulmigu Throubathi Amman Koil. He submitted a representtion, dated 01.08.2015, to the second respondent, seeking permission to conduct a cultural programme on 08.08.2015, for the event of Arulmigu Throubathi Amman Koil festival, and, since he has not been favoured with any response, he has come come forward to file this Writ Petition.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in the event of the permission being granted, there will not be any law and order problem and also no obscenity and vulgarity will be in place. Accordingly, he prays for appropriate orders. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Heard Mr.N.Roofus Abraham, learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondents.

5. This Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 01.08.2015, in accordance with law, and inform the decision taken thereon to the petitioner, on or before 08.08.2015.
