Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure to direct the 4th respondent to give protection to the petitioner leading normal life at the petitioner's residence and to run the factories which the petitioner is running now and the same shall be monitored by the respondents 1 to 3.

O R D E R

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this Criminal Original Petition. He has also made an endorsement to the said effect.

2. The present petition is filed to give police protection to the petitioner to lead a normal life at his residence and also to run the factories. This Court in its earlier order dated 02.08.2017 directed the fourth respondent Police, Karumalaikudal Police Station to have a police beat https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

throughout the day in the jurisdiction where the petitioner is residing.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) contended that as per the direction of this Court police beat is provided.

4. In the circumstances, the petitioner's counsel wanted to withdraw the petition since a police beat is provided and made an endorsement to this effect. Therefore, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn and the fourth respondent police is directed to continue to have a police beat in the jurisdiction as per the order passed by this Court dated 02.08.2017 until further orders.

5. With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
