Respondent Writ Petition has been filed praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondent to give permission to conduct the dance programme at Poyar Street, Nemanthipuram Post, Anaikattu Taluk, Vellore District, for the festival of Sri Kattu Kengaiamman Koil Thiruvila on 11.08.2015, based on the representation, dated 01.08.2015.

By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for disposal.
2. The petitioner claims to be the Dharmakartha of Sri Kattu Kengaiamman Koil, Poyar Street, Nemanthipuram Post, Anaikattu Taluk, Vellore District, and head of the Organising Committee of the said Temple Festival. He submitted a representtion, dated 01.08.2015, to the respondent, seeking permission to conduct a dance programme on 11.08.2015, for the event of Sri Kattu Kengaiamman Koil Thiruvila, and, since he has not been favoured with any response, he has come come forward to file this Writ Petition.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in the event of the permission being granted, there will not be any law and order problem and also no obscenity and vulgarity will be in place. Accordingly, he prays for appropriate orders.
4. Heard Mr.N.Roofus Abraham, learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondent.

5. This Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 01.08.2015, in accordance with law, and inform the decision taken thereon to the petitioner, on or before 10.08.2015.
