Writ Petition has been filed, praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 09.02.2015, to issue patta to the petitioner with respect to his land in R.S.No.1113/4 of Ukkaram A Village, Erode District.

By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner would claim that he and his parents are in possession and enjoyment of the land situated in R.S.No.1113/4 of Ukkaram A Village, Erode District, to an extent of 3 acres. He has submitted a representation, dated 09.02.2015, to the respondents, for issuance of patta in respect of the said land, and, since no orders have been passed, he has come forward to file this Writ Petition.

3. Heard Mr.I.C.Vasudevan, learned counsel for the petitioner; and Mr.S.Pattabiraman, learned Government Advocate, who accepted notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer, without going into the merits of the case, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 09.02.2015, in accordance with law, after putting the persons concerned on notice, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as the persons concerned.
