No.14049/12/B6/ Chennai dated 11.8.2016 issued by 2nd respondent quash the same and direct the 1st respondent permit the previous office bearers to administer the Wakf till end of their term.

O R D E R

The relief sought for in the present writ petition relating to the election deserves no further adjudication, on account of efflux of time. The tenure of the office bearers expired and if at all any grievance continues, the petitioner is at liberty to pursue the matter by approaching the competent authorities. However, the relief as such sought for in the writ petition lost its relevance, due to the expiry of the term for the elected office bearers.

2. Thus, the writ petition stands disposed of as infructuous. No Costs. Consequently, the connected writ miscellaneous petition is closed.
