ORDER

The petitioner apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Sections Section 8(c) read with Section 20(b)(ii)(B), 25 & 29(1) of NDPS Act, 1985 in Crime No.54 of 2026 on the file of the respondent police seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners along with other accused were found in possession of 9.5 kgs of ganja. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are innocent persons and there is no recovery from them. He would further submit that the petitioners are ready to abide by any stringent conditions that may be imposed by this Court and hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would reiterate the prosecution case and opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners. 2/4

5. Considering the nature of allegation against the petitioner and it is a case arising under NDPS Act, this Court is of the view that the petitioners do not deserve anticipatory bail.
