This Original Petition has been filed under Sections 3 and 7, 8, 9, 10 & 25 of Guardians and Wards Act of 1890 read with Order XXI Rule 2, 3 of the Original Side Rules read with Clause 17 of the Letters Patent, seeking the relief to appoint the petitioner as the guardian of person of the minor children and for granting permanent custody of the minor children, namely, Palaniappan Visalakshi (D.O.B:03.07.2011) and Palaniappan Ramanathan (D.O.B:03.07.2011).

2. On 04.11.2020, when the matter is listed before this Court, the learned counsel for the petitioner made submission as he has given change of vakalat. This Court, after recording the said submission, directed the Registry to print the name of the petitioner in the cause list and list the matter on 24.11.2020. Though the name of the petitioner is shown in the cause list, none have been appeared on behalf of the petitioner for the past 2/4

two (2) hearings. Hence, this Original Petition is dismissed for default. However, there is no order as to costs.
