ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 376, 417, 420 and 506(i) of IPC in Crime No.06 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant lodged a complaint stating that the petitioner and the defacto complainant loved each other and earlier the petitioner promised to marryed her and had sexual intercourse with her on compulsion. Thereafter, the petitioner got married with other girl. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case and prayed for grant of anticipatory bail.

4. The learned Government Advocate submitted that investigation is at initial stage. Therefore, he opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Taking into consideration the allegations and also the fact that the case is in the initial stage of the investigation and that the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is essential, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
